MY REVIEW:

Well well well this was a delight to read. If your reading this series then you know David is Grace’s son, so I didn’t really expect to see him in this series.

By day. David is a staid professor at a university and is living his dream job. But by night his a Dom. And its kind of naughty but hot.

He content with his life, but he does have some issues with his step-father and his family that he needed to work out.

“Sean and Kyle started talking about all the ways David could be brutally murdered. It was their love language.”

Unlike his brother Kyle he didn’t really have anything in common with his step-dad Sean.

“Sean’s brother was practically a superhero, if superheroes had potty mouths and were sarcastic. So he was Deadpool.”

He felt out of place. With all of the family. But comparing Ian Taggart to deadpool was hilarious!

Now he’s insistent on going on this treasure hunt to find this hidden artifact and is forced to take along security. Even though he doesn’t think it’s necessary at all.

Tessa doesn’t think relationships are for her, but her job she can definitely do. So she is placed as security for David. And things start to heat up.

She also has some misconceptions about David and is judging him by his family then by the man he is.

The whole naughty professor really did something for her.  Even though she didn’t want it to.

“She could maybe resist the nice-guy professor, but meeting the pervy hottie under the tweed was like finding out not only was Clark Kent Superman, he could also find a G-spot faster than a speeding bullet.”

Tessa’s strong, independent woman that can defend herself and her client. She’s also a badass.

What I really liked was that David didn’t try to place the macho crap with her. He understood that she was his bodyguard and he let her do her job.

I really liked how these two worked together and therefore were able to do what they both came to do.

WOULD I RECOMMEND:

Of course! I really enjoyed this story. I loved that Tessa was a badass that got to kick a little ass.

And Tessa and David were perfect for each other. I loved learning about each character and their flaws.

I also loved learning a little more about Sean and Grace. And getting to see their relationship from David’s perspective.
