MY REVIEW

I was so excited to read this book! I knew who Belle was because of the book I read right before this one. The Wrong Game. Belle was introduced as the heroine’s best friend.

Belle was fun and free and able to smack some sense into her bestie when needed. I was so ready to see if Belle could handle her own advice.

Belle is a commitment free girl. She likes to have fun and is not shy about it which I love! And she goes for what she wants, she’s not afraid or shy.

So imagine her surprise when she comes across Makoa and he’s not interested in the one night stands or any of that. He’s a romantic at heart and just wants to be in love with someone and make them happy.

“Nice guys. Good guys. Guys who are interested in more than just getting in your pants.” Zach shook his head. “Belle, come on. This is a good thing.” “Tell that to my throbbing clitoris, Zach.”

I absolutely fell in love with Makoa from the beginning. He was so sweet and caring and had his hear broken so many times but was still looking for love.

Belle’s had her heart broken but what she got out of that was that she was the good time girl and that was it. It changed her whole perspective on relationships and she didn’t want to get attached to anyone. Been there done that and all.

“That kiss was magnetic. It was fireworks and shooting stars and a million fairytales lived out in a single moment. It was the kind of kiss that could ruin a girl if she wasn’t careful.”

But Makoa is not playing any games and he’s playing for keeps. I loved Belle and Makoa’s relationship and them together. They were so perfect for one another!

I also love how sweet he was with her and how she started to open up to him and show him a different side of herself.

“I’ve been waiting my whole life for you, Belle Monroe. And I’m never letting you go now.”

This was another hit with me! I absolutely love Kandi Steiner and need to read more of her books.

If your looking for some angst, funny banter, besties that will do anything for one another and guys that make you swoon this is the one!
