RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
MY REVIEW: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS
I was a little iffy going into this book I had read this type of book before and didn’t really care for it.
The characters were not connected in the previous book I read and it just felt really disconnected to me.
But I really wanted to read this book based on the excerpt that was given to us at the end of The Dom Who Loved Me.
And because Adam and Jake were in the previous book and we learned some about them, but I wanted to know more.
It starts off with the characters meeting each other for the first time, and the meeting not going the best.
Serena is a author that is being stalked and needs the help of Adam and Jake who are body guards
Ms. Blake starts to describe the characters and the fact that Adam and Jake have been friends and roommates for a very long time.
They are best friends that like to share the women they date, but they are looking for someone who can handle being with both of them long term.
Serena is a divorced author that has been dragged through the mud by her ex husband because of the books she writes.
This is where it gets interesting Serena wants that type of relationship but can’t figure out if Adam and Jake are just messing with her.
So while protecting Serena from a crazy stalker they have to coax her into a relationship with them.
Serena doesn’t have much experience, especially since her ex was selfish
Jake and Adam have wayyy more experience. And Serena is extremely attracted to them both.
They show here what its like with each of them and she finds that she craves what they give her.
The scenes are extremely hot and everything you would expect from a Lexi Blake book.
Things start to get really dangerous for Serena and she has to depend on Adam and Jake to keep her safe.
They make mistakes with each other and have to learn how to work together as a threesome.
“There’s nothing kind about passion. It can be, but you’re expecting love to be one way, and It’s not. It sure as hell isn’t going to be with two men. You have two men with two hearts and two pasts to deal with. Have their lives been all sunshine and roses? You know we react the way we do because of what life has taught us.”
But they are all worried that a threesome cant work long term, because it’s not the norm.
While all of this is going on, the suspense storyline comes to a head leaving Jake and Adam is a position they were trying to avoid.

WRAP UP:
One thing I love about Lexi Blakes writing is she really goes on depth with her characters. You can practically feel the hurt and pain coming off the pages.
You fall in love with the characters and want them to have their happy ending. This story definitely changed my views on reading menages.
Even through their flaws and past hurts, they finally find a way to open up to each other.
WOULD I RECOMMEND:
I would definitely recommend this book! It’s just all around goodness.
I really enjoyed reading this book. I think it was one of my favorites from Lexi Blake. I have reread this one many times.
Lexi makes you fall in love with the characters, which is something I love because the are more relatable.
The characters she wrote in this book are beautifully flawed humans that find their ways to one another.
This is an amazing read, if you haven’t read it yet, what are you waiting for?
