MY REVIEW:

From all of the books that I have read in Jenna Hartley’s series this seems to be a stand alone but does mention characters from her other books.

I have read her reverse age gap book and loved it and I have read her Alondra Valley books and also loved it so I didn’t doubt that I would love reading this book.

I enjoy the way she writes and creates characters. Anyway on to the review.

Kendall and Knox have known each other for some time but have coincidentally been throw together again and this time the heat is undeniable, especially when there is nothing holding them back.

Prior to being thrown together unexpectedly Kendall was Knox’s son’s ex girlfriend. I hope that wasn’t to hard to follow. And even though this was the case Knox always had a thing for Kendall and vice versa.

So fast forward, Kendall is no long with Knox’s son and her and Knox’s are staying in the same house. The chemistry is insane and they cannot resist. They end up doing a whole lot if things they shouldn’t be doing and having to hide it.

This forbidden-ness only makes everything hotter and this doesn’t really help the situation. Knox can’t tell his son about them and Kendall can’t tell her mom.

In the meantime Kendall and Knox have absolutely fallen for each other and can’t get enough of each other.

I really enjoyed this book the forbidden aspect making it even better and you just knew everything was going to blow at some point but that made it even better.

This was one of those books that I could not put down. Kendall and Knox were so perfect for each other and had so much chemistry it was inevitable that they would collide. They also had a lot in common as far as likes and dislikes.

And Knox was just so caring and considerate and wanted nothing more than to be with Kendall even though this whole situation was messy.

Kendall was tough and strong and had to endure a lot but I’m glad she finally stepped out of her rule follower role and just let go with Knox, he also showed her that she could be her complete self with him and he would accept it.

Overall a great read and another great book from Jenna Hartley. So far I’ve enjoyed all of her books and can’t wait to read the new ones.
