MY REVIEW:

Noelle LaVigne was introduced in the Bayou series as the daughter of one of the main characters, she was confined to a wheelchair when we first met her but has come a long way since then.

She’s been through so much and has remained resilient and strong. She’s also kind and a sweetheart.

I really enjoyed getting to see this side of her. And seeing how much she’s grown since we first met her.

Hutch has been around for a long time and we’ve all enjoyed him as a secondary character but this was his time to shine and I really wanted to see that for him.

Hutch has always been the candy loving tech guy. He’s smart, tech savvy and loyal. He’s become a part of the McKay-Taggart family that we love so much.

Hutch has been through a lot too in the past which we were there to witness. Since this book take place after the time jump in Lexi Blakes book.

So the characters are older and more mature.

Hutch and Noelle get off to a rocky start, which Hutch doesn’t mean to happen but it does. But he proves that he can take her case seriously and help her out.

Noelle is a baker on her own free time and Hutch has always had a sweet tooth, so of course they’re kind of perfect for each other.

So even though Noelle has a disability, Hutch treats her like he would treat anyone else which is so refreshing. He respected her and saw her as a woman.

I was happy to see Hutch get his happily ever after, with Noelle.

WOULD I RECOMMEND:

Yes! I would recommend this book, but then again I would recommend anyone of Lexi Blake’s books. She is one of my favorite authors.

I like reading about Hutch and Noelle and how they find happiness with each other. I really enjoyed how they took the chance and allowed each other in.

They both have tragic pasts which could have prevented them from being together, but they didn’t let it stop them.
