MY REVIEW:

So let me say when I found out this book would be coming out and it was some what a continuation of the first series but with a different main character I was so excited!

I couldn’t wait to see what Ms. Blake had in store for us and let me tell you she did not disappoint!

I ate this book up! I could not put it down. I loved diving into this series with a new main character, Ms. Blake knows how to weave a story and pull you in.

Kelsey was such an amazing kicka** character, I loved how badass she was. She’s amazing at her job gets to the bottom of things pretty quickly.

“Something in him called to me. I knew him. Not in any real sense, but I understood the man standing there, wondering if it was even worth it. I probably looked that way a hundred times a day. The inanities of life were an anathema to me and yet they were, at times, the only things that kept me going.”

She has two men after her but you can kind of tell where her heart is but things are revealed and this changes a lot things for Kelsey. 

“I suppose there are some women who would never bow in front of a man, but I’ve discovered that often a true partnership is never equal all the time. It’s a trade, a fluid bending from partner to partner when the need arises. One on their knees, worshipping the other and then the positions flip as easily as day turning to night. I never want to be so strong that I can’t love enough to bend.”

Kelsey always knew she was different but she didn’t know why, from her messed up relationship with her dad to her somewhat destructive behavior.

When she learns the truth, things start to make sense, but to learn the truth she was betrayed by almost everyone she trusted. This is a bitter pill to swallow for Kelsey.

I loved the way this story tied into the original and the fact that we got to catch up with Zoey, Danny, Dev and the rest of the gang.

This is a non stop action packed story, once you start reading you wont want to put it down until you’ve finished and even then you’ll be impatiently waiting for the next book in this series.

One thing Ms. Blake will do is make you want the next book.

Yes! I can’t wait to see where Ms. Blake takes us with this series! I am so excited. I have never wanted a paranormal romance book to come out the way I do the books in these series.

I have loved all of them so far. These books are definitely worth a shot. You’ll love the romance, the suspense and of course the paranormal!
