MY REVIEW:
Omg my heart! Raiden had my heart from the beginning! At first I didn’t understand everything, but that didn’t last for too long.
Raiden’s had it tough for his whole life and is use to the world being a mean and cruel place. Now all he wants is to prove himself and show everyone that he’s made something of himself.
Georgiana has had a bit of a privileged background. Her family has money but she’s had to work for everything she’s wanted. So she’s use to working hard is up for any challenge that comes her way.
Raiden has entered a contest for building a tiny and needs some help. He is allowed on assistant. He ends up picking Georgiana Wess as his assistant.
Georgiana needs to be on her own and show her family what she can do without them. She needs to prove herself not only to her family but she wants to know she can do it on her own.
When Raiden and Georgiana meet things go awry and Raiden is extra rude to Georgiana and I started getting annoyed with him. But then the author gives us Raiden’s perspective and my heart starts to break for him.
I instantly fell for Raiden, he was shocked and acted like a fool but knew right away that he was wrong and wanted to fix things but overheard Georgiana saying some mean things and now I’m mad at her.

But once Raiden starts to open up and talk to her, she starts to understand and that tough shell starts to crumble.
I loved reading about Raiden and everything that he had to overcome to be where he was and that fact that he was trying hard to build so much more and prove himself.
And I enjoyed seeing Georgie come into herself and be the strong, tenacious woman that she could be. She pushed through and didn’t let anyone bully her. She meant she was going to do the job and prove everyone wrong.
The more I read about Raiden the more I loved him and wanted to see him succeed.
Georgie and Raiden was the perfect pair, she helped him overcome some of the fears that he still had. He helped her be more confident in herself and believe that she deserved more than what he family was giving her.
Which made her finally stick up to her mom and establish some well needed boundaries.
From the moment I started this book I couldn’t put it down. I loved every minute of this book. I am interested in the other characters and their stories. I will definitely be on the look out for them. This is another author to add to my list!
