I absolutely devoured this book! I think I finished it in 2 days. I love every moment of it. I had never heard of this author before this book and let me tell you she is another one to add to my list of favorites!

This book has 2 parts. The first is Aiden and Hailee grown up and failing in love as teenagers in high school. Aiden and Hailee are best friends and know each other better than anyone else.

Aiden is a young actor and his dad keeps pushing him to continue his career since he’s successful.

I loved how they loved each other even as kids it was all consuming. And I loved how well they knew each other.

Hailee is Aiden’s best friend and support system. She was sassy, smart and caring. She kept Aiden on his toes.

The second part of the book takes place 5 years after they broke up. It broke my heart when they broke up this one definitely made me cry.

Fast forward 5 years and Aiden and Hailee have done some growing up. She’s learned to deal with a lot of the issues she was having and Aiden has become super successful as an actor. But he isn’t happy.

Aiden and Hailee are trying to find a way through everything that they’ve been through and not let the past come back to haunt them. I love watching Hailee’s growth, it was inspiring.

My new book boyfriend is definitely Aiden! I loved him from the beginning he was so sweet and kind and protective.

Even before he was old enough to understand what being protective meant. He always had Hailee’s back. I loved everything about him and even his vulnerable parts. I think that’s what made me like him even more.

Hailee broke my heart with all that was going on with her. I felt so bad for her and it actually hurt.

I didn’t not see the twists that were coming with this one. But I enjoyed every moment of it. It shocked and wowed me.

I will definitely be looking for more from this author.
