MY REVIEW:

The new generation is here and they are taking over, Ian Taggart has created a whole new generation of spy’s and he can do nothing but stand by and help them.

Tasha Taggart is the first up in this new series, she’s the one that’s behind the scenes while her sisters and crew are front line and doing all the dangerous things. Somehow she’s on the front lines, a job that she is not prepared for but has no choice since she’s just slept with the target and who better to get the info needed than her?

Problem is that Tasha isn’t really the type to hit and run and she really not cut out for undercover work but she has no choice at this point.

Dare Nash is just trying to get through the days and help his siblings as best as he can but the only way to do that is to be the face of his father’s company. So he knows he’s up for some boring conferences but he has no choice. He meets Tasha and she captivates him immediately.

The mission is suppose to be easy enough and a quick gathering information mission, but you know as well as I do nothing ever turns out the way that its suppose to. Everything as usually does not go according to plan and Tasha, Nash & the gang have to find their way out of a crazy situation.

Tasha and Nash are drawn to each other from the very beginning and that didn’t stop throughout the book. I loved how Tasha stood up for herself and never backed down from what she wanted. I also loved how she wouldn’t let Dare shame her for the things she liked. She was ready to leave and not deal with the non sense even though she liked him. I love seeing the confidence and respect she had for herself and her wants.

Dare was also hit with reality when she wouldn’t let him hide and try to act like he didn’t like the things he did. I loved seeing Tasha call him out and him responding respectfully but also coming out of his comfort zone for her.

These two fit together well, and the rest of the cast were awesome, I loved the banter with all of them and their relationships with one another. There are so many questions I have when it comes to their stories but I guess I just have to wait and see where Lexi Blake takes us.

Lexi Blake will always be a comfort author for me. At this point all of her books are on preorder for me.

This is a great beginning to a new but continued series by Lexi Blake. I’ve loved all of her books thus far and this was no different, its great to see the kids as adults with their own problems and issues. I cant wait to keep reading about the rest of the kids.
