MY REVIEW:

This is the final book in this series with the last siblings story being told. Throughout the series we get glimpses of Beau and we also know that he’s in the military. We also know that he gives off this carefree persona that seems like he has not a care in the world.

Beau’s last mission was disastrous to say the least and he was lucky to be alive. He returns home with not much to do and he’s lost his way. He doesn’t know what to do with himself now that he’s out of the military and free to do whatever he wants. He also lives in a small town where people are constantly talking to him about being hero and many other things that he doesn’t want to talk about.

He also has a huge family that is super concerned about him and are a bit overbearing in a loving way of course. And its all just a bit too much and he needs some space and time to heal.

Bailey is younger than Beau but she grew up around him and knowing who he was. His family is basically royalty in the small town that they live in. And Bailey is considered trashy because of her family something she can’t really control. Bailey’s been working hard to save up and get out of the town that has done nothing but criticized and treated her like crap.

Beau and Bailey decide to use a fake engagement to help them both out, she’ll have the Easton name and respectability behind her and he’ll have his family’s prying off his back. Win-win right? That is until things start to feel comfortable between the two and they start to heal and comfort each other in ways that they never knew they could.

Bailey was such a comfort to Beau, he didn’t realize that he needed until she came into his life. And Beau helped Bailey open up and come into herself. I loved watching the relationship slowly build between the two. They tried to keeps theirs hands off each other but this was hard give how they gravitated towards each other.

Their chemistry is perfect and Bailey felt safe enough with Beau that she was able to trust him and explore the things that she enjoyed and how to stand up for herself. I loved that he was there backing her up and not letting anyone hurt her.

It was a shame how the people in town treated Bailey, it wasn’t her fault the way her family was but she tried to be better than them and they couldn’t respect her for that. Even with the Eaton name behind her.

Bailey and Beau were perfect for one another, they were exactly what the other needed to heal and be their better selves and they worked so well together. This was a really nice ending to the series.

I loved seeing the rest of the couples and Harvey! He always stands out just like he’s done in all the previous books.
