Liam was introduced in the first book and made an appearance in the second book too.

He was known as “love ’em and leave ’em Liam.” He was known for sleeping with everyone and anyone that would let him.

He also like mindless, young and “skinny girls”. 

So why is he so attracted to the target? She’s isn’t his usual type. She wasn’t a quick lay.

She required time and effort and a whole lot of wooing. Liam takes the lead on this case and in doing so he takes the lead with Avery.

Avery is extremely innocent and doesn’t have much experience. Avery had to overcome a lot in her life and in doing so she didn’t have the experiences that other girls her age would have.

This makes it easier for Liam to step in and show her somethings that she had never tried before.

Liam shows Avery the BDSM way and she becomes hooked on what he can give her.

Liam is hoping that in completing this mission he can finally get some answers that he had been looking for.

Avery has lost so much, why shouldn’t she enjoy this man that is tempted her? She deserves some pleasure to right?

Avery gives into Liam’s every direction and cant believe the pleasure she’s found there.

When Avery finds out how Liam has betrayed her, she is utterly hurt and distraught.

But Liam can let go, even when the mission is complete. He didn’t expect to care as much as he does.

“Blood was meaningful, but it didn’t necessarily make a family. Love and friendship made families too.”

Will Avery give Liam another chance or will she cut her losses and move on?

WOULD I RECOMMEND:

I would recommend this book! Once again Ms. Blake with a great storyline. Although these books can be read as a stand alone, reading them in order really helps you put the story and the timeline together.

Again Avery and Liam are characters that I fell in love with. They were developed so well that I couldn’t put this book down.

Lexi Blake finds a way make characters that you can relate to and understand. Life hasn’t been easy for them but they find a way.

We also get a glimpse of the other characters in McKay-Taggart and how their lives are going.
