MY REVIEW:

Omg Bree! I can’t believe all the pain Bree had to go through. She was in foster care as a child, never knew her parents and then is attacked by a monster. I can’t believe how much she had to endure.

After Bree is attacked she can no longer stay in her home she goes off looking for some answers about her past and finds a whole new community, where people look out for each other and take care of each other.

Zeb and Shay have seen their far share of hell. They end up in Cold Creek and are trying to live a normal life for shifters at least when Bree comes tumbling into their lodge looking for a place to stay.

She is terrified of both men but finds the courage to stay to find information on her past. She starts to find out things about herself that she never knew before and a whole new world opens up to her.

Zeb’s been looked at as scary his whole life and when Bree is terrified of him too he feels even worse not understanding that her fear comes from somewhere else.

“Little female, if you are bothered by a male, tell me. I’ll take care of him for you.” His cheek creased. “Part of the Wildwood service.”

While Bree is learning about her new life she is treated terribly but the people who are suppose to be helping her, thank goodness she has Shay and Zeb.

Zeb’s jaw dropped. “You lied to protect us?”

She crossed her arms over her chest and frowned at them. “Well, duh.”

Zeb and Shay try to find their footing in a town that is so much different than the last one that they were in. They were disrespected and taken for granted.

I really enjoyed the relationship between Zeb and Shay too. Even though they aren’t related they are really close.

“Most brothers share a womb. Some, instead, share life and blood and death.”

I loved reading about Zeb and Shay with Bree, they were so gentle and caring with her. They taught her so many and really showed her what caring and gentle men they could be.

Shay, Bree and Zeb were so great together. I really enjoyed that they took their time and got to know each other before just jumping into things.

WOULD I RECOMMEND:

Definitely! This book was amazing and probably my favorite so far! I love Bree, Zeb and Shay.

An amazing thing about Cherise Sinclair is that she develops her characters so well that you enjoy learning about them and learning what really makes them work together.

There is no insta-love and I appreciate that, I love the balance of them getting to know each other and falling for each other but not taking forever either.

This was so worth the read and will definitely be on my reread list. This is the second book and this series and so far I am not disappointed.
