MY REVIEW

This book was captivating, it kept me wanting to read and see what would happen.

Smith and Alessandra briefly met  but circumstances made Alessandra walk away and not look back for a long time.

Then she reappears out of nowhere and gets herself into trouble. Smith comes to the rescue and takes her to his home.

He offers her a deal to stay with him to 30 days and she accepts. He is determined to find out what happened to her and where she was.

I was very intrigued by this and wanted to find out what was going on. So I kept reading and started to get a bit bored with the story. There was a whole lot of sex and not a lot of communication between the two of them.

They were also suppose to be in a D/s relationship but it didn’t seem like there was much communication about that either.

Alessandra doesn’t start talk about anything until more than halfway through the book and while I understand a build up there wasn’t much other conversation about anything else.

Every time a conversation would start and get intense she would get up and walk away. It got frustrating for me as reader. And then they wouldn’t talk about the previous situation but have sex again.

Most of this book was Smith contemplating how to deal with Alessandra and her swearing she would never tell him what happened to her and where she’s been.

Smith seemed a bit high handed and demanding in the beginning. Taking authorities and not really asking if they were ok. But that started to change as we got to know him and he mellowed out. Which then made me like him a bit better.

And the fact that she was a social worker and never thought that maybe she needed to speak to someone was a bit alarming. I understand that this may not have been her first thought but maybe somewhere down the line.

When she finally started opening up then it started to get good. This wasn’t a bad book but maybe it could have given a bit more about the characters and a little less sex scenes.

WOULD I RECOMMEND:

This was a ok book to me. Took me too long to get any type of information about the main female character. It took me a long time to warm up to her.

And her behavior was all over the place. I understand why it was when I finally find out the things but prior to that it just seemed annoying.

It just wasn’t for me. I felt like there could have been more to it.
