MY REVIEW

These two have the absolute worst timing! Which spans over seven years and some. When they first meet they hit it off instantly and the chemistry is wild.

Their time is cut short and they have to stop earlier than they would have liked and then they end up being separated by distance and time just starts to pass.

On a chance encounter they meet again and spend time together and hit it off once again but again the timing just isn’t right.

So once again they separate and hope that they will get their chance, when they come back together and finally think they will get there chance something else comes up.

This was a bit frustrating to me at first like can they just get together already lol but I knew I needed to have some patience.

These two were perfect for each other just couldn’t get to the getting together part of it.

Harlen was such a sweet and caring guy and I loved the relationship he had with his daughter. He was such a good dad and I love the fact that he got along really well with his daughters mother and stepdad.

“Your ex-fiancé should have to wear a sandwich board for the rest of his life that says I lost out on a fantastic woman because I’m a stupid, shit-for-brains numb nut. Also, those boots are hot.”

Katie is the Yoga guru. I loved that she was so success in her business endeavors. She was fun, sweet and caring. And wanted to be nothing like her mother which I understand considering how her mother behaved.

“I never imagined I’d find my fiancé making out with my about-to-be-officially-and-finally-estranged mother.”

I loved her relationship with her dad and her honesty and integrity. She was upfront and honest and I really enjoyed seeing this instead of the drama.

“He snuggles against me, kisses my cheek, then says, “I’m falling in love with you.” And it’s so right with him. It’s more than right. “I’m falling in love with you too.”

When these two finally get together its like magic. They’re perfect for each other and are perfect together. The only thing that I felt was a bit forced was the relationship between Katie and Harlen’s daughter. There should have been a few more interactions.

“And isn’t that what a man should aim to do for the woman he wants? Treat her right and make her feel good? It’s that simple.”

I would definitely recommend this book, great characters and a great story. I loved both Harlen and Katie! And I loved the fact that even though Harlen was an athlete, he wasn’t a jerk. He was a really nice guy and very considerate.
