MY REVIEW:

I have been waiting for this book for the longest!! Ever since Robert was introduced back in Theo’s book I wanted to know his story. And we’re finally getting it.

Of course each of these men have to go on a mission to find who they were and where they came from, because they can’t remember anything.

From the moment Robert met Ariel he knew something was different about her, he knew he wanted her but he also knew she was special and he couldn’t just mess with her.

Robert is loyal, fierce and super sweet. He’s also a protector, he may not remember who he is but he finer qualities prevailed.

“Time is a funny thing. We always think we have time, and then we open our eyes and wonder where it all went.”

He also never thought he was good enough for her because he was so messed up and in his eyes Ariel is this perfect woman that can’t handle the violence that he’s lived through and still has nightmares about. So he could never touch her, but things change they have to go on a mission together.

Ariel is a total badass but no one knows it. She’s strong and a fighter, she can hold her own and doesn’t really understand the pedestal that Robert has placed her on.

“Damon knows what I used to do and who I worked with. He also knows I’m here with you today. I don’t keep secrets from him. I keep quiet about it because it might make the others uncomfortable to know their friendly shrink used to be MI6’s go-to assassin.”

She has stayed away from Robert so that he can get the help he needed after everything that he went through.

But it looks like Robert’s time is up and Ariel is ready to see what is really between them.

On a search to find out about Robert’s past they uncover some secrets that they really didn’t want to find but none the less have to be dealt with.

“It’s good enough for my boys. You always have each other.

At some point in time, he’d had a brother.”

Things really start to get interesting in this book , but the thing about Ms. Blake is that she may give you part of the story but you’ll have to wait for the rest to play out.

Um… what do you think? Definitely! This is an amazing story! I waited so long for Robert’s story and I was not disappointed!

I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and couldn’t put this book down. It gave me all the feels!

And didn’t fail to surprise me. I wasn’t not expecting the twists and turns that this book took, but it also answered some of my questions.

I loved Robert and Ariel together, they were perfectly suited. She was strong enough to handle him and not let him fall into a funk.

He was the caring amazing man that she needed in her life to support her and not be stifle her badassness or her independence.
