MY REVIEW:

Owen is a little different from his brother in the sense that he has the information about who he is and where he came from. He was a former intelligence worker that was given the memory erasing drugs and now doesn’t remember the life he had before.

Sure he has all the facts laid out in front of him and he can read all about himself but actually remember? That he can’t do. Now he’s on a mission to help his brothers find the cure for the drugs they were given.

This is where Rebecca comes in she is a doctor that worked with the evil doctor who erased all of the men’s memories.

Rebecca is a bit of a protégé, she’s super intelligent and has worked for the best. She’s been working hard for a long time with one goal in mind find a cure for the disease that took her mother from her.

“See, I know all the tricks. So all I need is a hot geek who’s super good at sex, wants to clean my apartment, and he can cook, and he mostly just wants to support me.”

“You understand that you’re looking for a wife, right?”

“Bingo.” She pointed Cathy’s way. “Except I’m not. I’m looking for a good time. I’m looking for a reason to not spend my weekends and late nights here.”

She’s worked so hard toward that goal that she’s forgotten everything else around her and doesn’t have much of a social life.

But that all changes when Owen moves in and she is completely enthralled by him. She doesn’t realize how much she wasn’t living before and now she wants it all.

Rebecca wants to get closer to Owen, and Owen, of course needs to get closer to Rebecca to see what she really knows and how she help doctor evil.

Owen and Rebecca a explosive when they’re together! I can’t believe the heat between these two. It’s like they can’t keep their hands of each other.

“Tell me I can take over,” he whispered between kisses. “Let me off the leash, love. It’s killing me not to touch you the way I want to.”

Owen had his own demons to fight he’s messed up big time and never forgave himself for it.

“No, brother, it’s only that I’ve been broken longer than you,” he said solemnly. “I’ve been broken for years, and you’ll find that if you let it, some of those broken pieces will heal. They won’t be the same, but you’ll find ways to cope that aren’t about trying to obliterate yourself.”

Owen starts to fall for Rebecca and starts to reevaluate his thoughts on her, is she really the person that helped to erase all their memories?

Owen and Rebecca take us for a wild ride with the rest of the gang.

WOULD I RECOMMEND:

I would definitely recommend this book, I love this series!

I love how Ms. Blake can create a story and just make you want to keep reading while wanting more.

This is the second installment is this series and I couldn’t be more happy with it. These two are such different people but somehow they fit together and they work.

I love the character development and how they grow and change, this always helps me connect with Ms. Blake’s characters. And these two were no different.

But can I just say I can’t wait for the next book!
