MY REVIEW:

I don’t care how many books are in this series I will buy and read them all! I love the characters and their stories. I love getting to see them again and getting to know how they’re doing.

JT and Nina were introduced to use before and of course I was just waiting for their story to come out. But I didn’t know it would be JT and Nina together.

JT is from Texas and Nina was from the other side of the pond. She was a part of the McKay-Taggart London office.

Anyways JT has always been strong, dependable and hardworking. And his family is very important to him.

He has everything but not a woman in his life. He doesn’t really know what’s missing until he meets Nina.

Nina is nothing like the women that JT usually dates.

She’s a badass that can fight and protect the people around her, she is after all his security.

Nina is a trained agent and can handle herself in almost any situation. But she doesn’t know how to handle herself around JT.

“You need a man who lets you be the badass you are in your everyday life, and who helps you let it all go at night. You need a man who supports you in everything you want.”

But JT soon finds a way to handle her and she doesn’t know what to think of it or if she can trust it, she has been burned in the past.

And of course Ms. Blake throws some suspense in there to keep us on our toes and not forget that they are on a case.

If though these are two completely different people they fall for each other.

And let not forget Nina’s partner Sandra! She’s a hoot! She’s a badass that says what she wants and doesn’t care what other people think of her.

WOULD I RECOMMEND:

Ah yes! Another great book to add to the series.

JT and Nina find exactly what they have been missing in each other. We also learn a lot more about these characters that we didn’t know before.

This book is also a part of the Dark Nights 1001 Series. This series is written with many different authors.
