MY REVIEW:

This was an unexpected treat. I love second chance stories of lovers who for some reason couldn’t last, even though the love was there.

Wade and Genny was no different, they clearly loved each other but didn’t last.

Now Genny’s back and Wade has to deal with her and everything that comes with his past memories.

Things are not as they appear and Wade and Genny have let fifteen years go by and never tried to talk to each other.

Wade is now a protector and Genny is in trouble so of course he’s going to do what’s necessary to make sure the love of his life is safe and cared for.

All those old feelings start to resurface and both of them have to figure out how to handle it.

I loved seeing Genny and Wade rekindle the love that was once so deep. The were able to find away back to each other no matter the circumstances.

Genny is strong but is just tired of having to fight.

When Wade sees Genny again, he no longer sees the young girl that he was in love with but a harden woman that has replaced her. Genny has had to deal with a lot over the years.

Genny has made choices that have obviously led her away from her original goals and she’s had to live with those decisions.

“We are survivors, not victims. We are strong enough to face what happened to us, smart enough to want more for ourselves, and brave enough to open our hearts again.”

Wade is willing to do whatever it takes to keep Genny alive and safe. And to help her heal too.

WOULD I RECOMMEND:

Yes! Of course Genny and Wade are such a good match that once you start reading you’re going to  want to continue until the end to see where they go.

The life that they start to build doesn’t seem real at first, but of course it is.

I felt so bad for Genny and all she had to endure and Wade knew nothing about it. He just thought she up and left him one day with no rhyme or reason.

I am a sucker for second chance love stories and this one definitely made me happy.
